What is honor and what is pride.. Hrm... You see in my book there is no such thing.. we are nothing but servants.. so we have no honor or pride.. so i know not of it.. lol yeah right its a false sense of feeling superior is my guess at it..

honor - given not self-proclaimed, earned not automatic or positional, dangerous and addicting.

pride - necessary but easily overinflated, helpful but totally overblown, very often misplaced in my own accomplishments--I boast in Christ my Lord, not in my own accomplishments.

Somehow i think that God gives me honor. Honor being his approval/love and smiles. I honor others by encouraging them or doing something for them. It is almost like a supreme love??

i am trying to answer this as to what these items are to me. pride to me is how i feel about my church. i take a LOT of pride in who the coc is....but yet i am also VERY aware of principal and will not let us have so much internal pride that we fail to see the reason for the pride....sheesh am i saying all this and am i making sense???

sometimes i equate pride to principal. many people will stand on pride and principal and they may win some battles but the casualties will overwhelm the cause.
i guess, bottom line is that pride is nothing to me w/o Jesus Christ.
